i chopped a g on Saturday and decided not to go out
just wondering if this weed is any different if i smoke it on the following friday
about 6 days after chopping?

It will be very slightly less potent, but you will probably not notice a difference.

If you keep it in an airtight container (like a good glass one with a rubber seal) that will preserve the potency almost completely.

It will probably be a bit dried out; that's about it. Still smokeable for sure! Keep your chopped up weed in an airtight glass container (a mason jar works well) and you will have no worries keeping it for a week or two.
