Bluelighters, the holidays are upon us, and for many this not just means potential Christmas stress but also: increased reliance on eggnog and fairy sprinkles.

Please watch out with driving under the influence - steer clear of that. If you're launching ye olde drug fest, consider making it a sleepover or have a word about designated drivers with your guests.

If you plan to go clean with New Years, don't binge your drug of choice too hard in the days leading up to it. Not just for the acute risks involved but also because it can undermine willpower leading up to the quit.

Mind your drug combinations, its better to do one drug properly than to make a horrid mixture and end up in trouble.

Mind the unholy trinity of Opioids, Alcohol and Benzodiazepines. A lot of ER visits come from combining 2 or all 3 of those.

Psychedelics and Dissociatives: Be mindful that the holidays pack a psychological wallop of their own, Entheogenic binging or questionable sessions including wildcard participants may pose risk of a psychologic backlash.

No means no, not just sexually but also regarding drugs, drug parties and the consent of all involved.

Harm reduction is the right spirit.

Make it epic, but be responsible every step of the way.

Happy Holidays!

Take care of each other !

Earlier today I read this and was like, well I basically broke every single one of the rules in my fantasy.

Good reminder. Preesh
