The Happy Wanderer
Bluelighter
Hello fellow bluelighters,
some time ago, maybe 1,5 years, I bought some kava kava to help with anxiety. Back then, I got the impression it would do nothing at all for me.
Yesterday I tried it again and definitely felt the effects.
I thought I'd just be relaxed, but there was also some stimulation and jitteriness to it (and some nausea).
I've read it has some norepinephrine reuptake inhibiting properties, but sth. about felt a little like weed for me (I have a special not-so-good relationship to weed). I also found that one of the kavalactones is a cb1-agonist.
Does anybody feel the same?
I was thinking if a cb1-antagonist could help me, but these are actually hard to find. I have a disease similar to parkinson's, and while weed worsens the symptoms, maybe an antagonist would improve them. Actually there's scientific work about it, but as far as I can see no medication out yet.
