Hello,

Does anyone know if it would be okay to take celebrex and Kava Kava together? I can't find anything in particular - I hesitate to take an anti-inflammatory with Kava because both seem to be associated with liver problems, but it's hard to find anything about this particular combination.

Thanks

I would get off Celebrex if I were you. I know I am older than you, hypothetical guess but I can tell you that you take a chance on that drug. Early in my pain career I was on Celebrex an Vioxx and they caused pressure in my chest. It wasn't until later that they took it off the market because it was causing heart problems. I don't know why its back on the shelves. My Dr. put me on Meloxicam as an alternative, again they found the same results that they even advertise on TV nowadays. I suggest you'd be better off finding something else unless your Dr. says otherwise. Perhaps if your age is a factor and if your young and its not a problem disregard my advice. Good luck, oh I don't know diddily about Kava.
