Kava caps + hydrocodone

Hi there. Just a quick question, I picked up some kava kava caps from my local health food store, and was wondering if anyone has had relative success using them to potentiate/complimenting hydrocodone.

I'm not expecting miracles here, sort of hoping for a mild benzo-type relaxation to compliment it. I've used kava caps a few times, usually taking way too many to get the job done by itself. I'm sure it'll be nice, but I figured I'd throw this thread out there and fish for some like-minded responses.

They're run of the mill 250mg / 30% kavalactones capsules. I know they're pretty crappy and all, but I'm also wondering if anyone has had good experiences combining the whole root stuff with opiates of any sort as well. Thanks in advance.

Should increase the sedation just a tad bit, I doubt you'll get something on level with a mild benzo dose but everybody is different. Some people have good success with kava kava and if you're one of those people, mixing kava with an opiate should be an enjoyable experience.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. I'm not expecting mind-bending euphoria, or anything close to a benzo dose to be honest, but I'm a little unsure what else to compare it to. This is what I was hoping to hear, though. Thanks. :D

Sorry, forgot to include useful information haha. I've used kava 2-3 times, each time different brands of capsules. Pretty hit and miss with that particular source, off the shelf anyway. When it did finally work for me, I took an entire bottle of capsules (probably a bad idea) and was suprised at how good I was feeling.

I didn't get too much out of this whole experience but it was better than a hot stick in the eye. I'll have to try it again properly when I get my hands on 30mgs or so of hydrocodone, and some actual kava.
