The eastern wall of Hurricane Katrina is beating the shit out of the Mississippi Gulf Couast. Biloxi/Gulfport's already reporting 10 ft. of water covering downtown. Such a beautiful pair of small coastal twin towns too.

I feel bad for the tech school students stuck at Keesler Air Force Base right now.

Yeah you were, but look at it this way, if it were any other coastal city, the need for evacuation, while still strongly urgent, wouldn't be nearly as strong as for one who's full of waste dumps, poor sewage systems, and is sitting below sea level.
This hurricane is literally going to turn New Orleans into America's toilet.
