Carnitine
Greenlighter
First comes first, let me tell you, I am somewhat of an experienced drug user. I have experienced a myriad of drugs including: Cannabis (semi-regularly), DXM, Tramadol, Methadone, Alcohol, Xanax, Klonopin, Flexiril, Ambien, Diphenhydramine, Vicodin, Oxy, and several other Opiates & Benzos. I have always been a cautious recreational drug user, making sure that I will be safe throughout my trip experience and always know what mixes with what and what doesn't.
Anyways, back to the story. I have read online about synthetic cannabinoids circulating around America - which is considered a legal marijuana alternative and it's main component ( JWH-018 ) has been rumored to produce VERY similar effects to some semi high-grade chronic. Legal weed? I had to try it! So, I grabbed a couple bucks from my stash and rode my bike to the local headshop. Walking in, I noticed several brand names: Khronic, Paranoia, Killa, Poison, all in about 1.5 gram transparent jars. I bought 'Paranoia', one of the more expensive blends for about $14. Reading the container it says "Paranoia: Not fit for human consumption," and under that it says "Contains JWH-018 (and several other cannabinoids in which I can't remember at this time)."
When I got home I grabbed a Pringles can and proceeded to poke a hole in it and create your standard ghetto steamroller. I had read that it only takes about two hits to feel the effects (being a heavy chronic smoker I was very skeptical about how much I should actually induce). I proceeded to put my lighter to the bowl and take two VERY large hits and held it in as long as I could. The smoke smelled like it would if you burnt green tea, very herbal. The taste was somewhat harsh and was hard to hold in. A way to describe is less than Cigar smoke and more than weed smoke in terms of harshness. Last hit, I blew the smoke out and felt very lightheaded. Unlike weed, this come-up was in an instance and the high continued to increase. It felt almost exactly like some chronic!
I was very giggly, and had that hazy feeling that I usually get with weed. Yet ...it felt very different, very *fake* is the best way I could describe it. It felt as if something was missing and I didn't have that usual cinnamon roll cramming down my gullet feeling I usually get with weed. It wasn't bad, not bad at all. Then, something happened... I couldn't tell exactly what it was. My thoughts were racing and I felt a VERY heavy pressure on both of his kidneys as if a heavy set male was standing on them - it wasn't painful, but it was terrifying. I had anxiety and what do you know, I also felt paranoia... I guess the brand name for the blend suites itself well...
My high was steadily increasing and increasing and I started talking to myself, the impending feeling of doom crept upon me quickly and I just felt terrible, I felt sickly. If this is what death feels like, it feels very real, and very scary! I was pacing around my bedroom stretching my body and telling myself that I'll be okay and if I live through this I will NEVER touch drugs again. This was not a high, this was a tragedy. My eyesight was dulling, my hearing was off, my balance was distorted - and oh, that pressure in my kidneys increased and increased. I looked in the mirror and my eyes were fire-truck red and eyes were droopy. I couldn't help but drink lots and lots of water and splash it in my face, maybe something as pure as water would get me away from this hell and maybe I will come down. That was not the case at ALL, this deathly feeling persisted and tore me apart from the inside. I was a fucking prisoner in my own body. I actually thought I might have a heart attack because my breathing was manual and my blood-pressure was insanely high.
This repeated for the next hour and a half and I started to come down, I took precautions with spice; maybe I overdosed? I didn't vomit at all during the experience, but the feeling of hell washed over me during the entire time. I took two hits and felt like dying... Synthetic cannabis is not to be fucked with on a day to day basis and should be taken in a very mild and very safe manner. If you don't feel it please DO NOT increase the dosage. Wait about twenty to see if it hits you. If it doesn't, should you increase your intake and ONLY then. JWH-018 and other cannabinoids are made by scientists synthetically and in no way are natural, they are a research chemical and very little is known about them and their toxicity. Overdose is a very real thing with spice so be cautious and heed my warning. Me, myself, will not be doing spice again and dumped the rest of it in the toilet, where it belongs. The container is cool though, I'll put something that really belongs in there, some real nice, NATURAL bud
. I can't help wondering why something this dangerous is legal and marijuana is not?
Has anyone else experienced a disaster with spice and synthetic cannabinoids? If so, please share, and thanks for reading. Take care if you're smoking spice; shit gets real, real fast.
