Opioids Just took a blue 30, but worried about benzo w/d??

I took my usual 30mg of dexedrine, and mixed it with 0.5 klonopin, as I take 2.5 mgs a day.

Instead of taking 1mg, I took 3/4 of a perc 30, with no tolerance, and uhh...yeah, im on cloud 9 LOL

My question is am I going to start going through w/d from my klonopin?? Ive been on it 2 months so I know it's possible, but worried about mixing opiates and my klonopin because of all the dangers I hear about very frequently.

My question is how long should I wait before taking my klonopin?? The last thing I want to do it go through W/D's, I took the 3/4 about an hour ago...so wondering when would be a good time.

I forgot to mention I took the dexedrine and 0.5 of klonopin at 10:30, so about 8 hours ago.

The half-life of clonazepam will keep you out of withdrawal until you come down and can dose safely. It is between eighteen and fifty hours.

Note that this also means that the dose of clonazepam has potentiated the opiod you took. Take that into account next time.

In between 18 and 50 hours are you serious? GODDAMN seriously?? I wouldnt expect it to be THAT long

And it might have potentiated the opiod I took, but ive got a tolerance, and it was only 0.5

Yeah it's got a mean HL. 50 is the extreme, but conversely so is 18. Most of us probably fall somewhere in the middle. Therapeutic effects don't last that long, though.

Would taking a .5 of klonopin, 3 hours after dosing from the perc (or ROXIS....erm) be dangerous?? I have a tolerance, and already feels like im coming off the opiates, I usually take 2.5 mgs of klonopin a day so I just dont know about waiting this long on only 0.5 when ive been on 2.5 for a couple months now

You didn't take any percocet tonight my friend. Percocet is the brand name of oxycodone/ APAP preperations. You took oxycodone alone. Sorry, it bothers me as well.

The only opiates I have experience with are diluided hydrocodone and oxycottin 10s....so yeah my bad. And your right I guess they were just straight oxycodone, what would you call them?? Roxi's??

Ive got another 30 and wondering what would be the best route for admisinistration, alot of people I was with last night were smoking them, and I politely refused...I really didn't want to go down that route. Plus these guys do them everyday, serious addicts. While I have addiction myself, and probley will take this other 30 for coming off the dex, ive never been as fond to opiates. Its like the greatest feeling drug to me, but everytime they wear off, I become very annoyed and anxious, and its always been a deterent for me for some reason. Ud think the complete opposite considering I have been addicted too hydrocodone, but only mixed with speed, and once i found benzos I just switched, and never went back. Strange relationship with opiates. Seriously the best feeling drugs but I hate them at the same time.... even I dont get it lol

Insufflating the oxycodone will give a much shorter but likely more intense high. You were right in not smoking the oxy, smoking pills is very bad for your health. Pills are full of lots of fillers and binders, not to mention the coating and colourings. Be careful mixing opiates/opioids with benzos, its finished off many a user. Even the experienced ones.

Roxi is short for Roxicodone, the brand name for 30mg and 15mg oxycodone. Percocets only come in 5, 7.5, and 10mg and are mixed with APAP. They might still make a 2.5 or 3.25mg one, I'm not sure.

About snorting, I suggest you stick to eating them. The bioavailability is higher orally than intranasally, meaning more of the drug makes makes it into your brain when you eat it. Snorting it will make it hit you faster, which some people equate with hitting harder, but actually it's stronger if you take it orally. Also, it will wear off faster if you snort it. This will lead to increased frequency of dosing, which builds tolerance more rapidly and leads to addiction. The act of chopping up lines and snorting them for a quicker fix is a reinforcing habit itself, lending a greater possibilty of addiction.

Long story short, dont snort em.

Don't take any more benzo's as another user posted you should be fine until you come down and are able to dose again. If you take more benzo's you risk CNS depression and possible OD. The combination is not recommended for anyone but especially someone who is not tolerant to opiates. Another member will chime in soon on how long until it is safe to take your daily benzo. I personally believe after 12 hours you would be safe but I would wait to hear what others think.

As for snorting them, it is lots of people favorite ROA. Personally, I like taking them orally but I also am a pain patient and try not to abuse them. They last longer and have a higher BA orally than nasally. Good choice not smoking them. That doesn't really work even, as you end up burning most. I'm not sure why some addicts do that. I have witnessed it in the past as well.
