Just got an EZ test - need advice

Ok. I got an EZ tester yesterday.
It is a small tube of brownish liquid (like a small toothpaste tube) in a plastic container.
It also has a paper instruction sheet with the colour chart etc. It is an EZ tester - it has the same label as the one on www.ez-test.com.
My question is this:
In the instructions it says do not put the lid back on the tube after you have opened it. Does this mean that you can't use the tester more than once????

First - way to go for buying a test kit! Safety first!
Anyways - i have the same testing kit - Thats probably a misprint - you can use the testing kit over and over again. Actually, make sure you put the lid on. Sulfuric acid is bad stuff - you don't wanna spill it anywhere!!!

Um, what? You must have misinterpreted the instructions, or else they were poorly written. For one, single-use (unless you have a single-use ampoule, but I didn't think those were being sold anymore?) wouldn't make any sense; a test kit is supposed to test a couple hundred pills.
Your description of it as a "small toothpaste tube" also baffles me; every tester I've seen was a small brown glass bottle with clear fluid inside, which of course should be re-capped after every use. I believe the instructions that came with mine (which wasn't ez-test.com) also recommended re-storing it in the outer plastic container when not in use.
Is it possible you're misreading instructions about not removing the special dropper dispenser (not an eyedropper - it's a little plastic widget stuck in the neck of the bottle)?

Apparently (according to another thread) I have a single use one and (the colour of the liquid) suggests that it is pretty old - damn.
They mustn't sell these anymore so I guess I gotta buy a new one!! Oh well I got ripped off but stiff shit hey.
Anyone know where I can get a tester in Canberra (AUSTRALIA)? I would prefer E/E2 but EZ will do.
Otherwise I will have to get one next time I am in Sydney.

Bring it back and get your money back.
It is MORE than 2 years old and will not work !!!

i think distribution of chem gen products in canberra is limited to sex shops at the moment, i could be wrong. last time i spoke to Brett he was saying how they wanted to get them in a wider variety of stores soon.
if you cant find one give madmick (guy from a harm min group called "code blue) an email at [email protected]
and please tell us where you bought this old kit, so we can tell them to stop selling them, and prevent other people from being screwed.

I bought it from a sex shop in fyshwick. Not too sure on the name of the shop but I will try to find out.

HQ.. you can get the testers there in fyshwick, from the adultworld. I saw them when I was up there about 6 months ago.
They were about $25 off the top of my head. Hope this helps ya. otherwise maybe get one from the web site like I did? www.ez-test.com only took about 2 weeks and you at least know your not going to get an old one like it sounds like you got.
