I do love this site, it is a great forum, with a good open discussion of controversial subjects without such a height amount of immaturity that you see on other sites.

I would just like to suggest, on behalf of iPad users like myself that when viewing a forum, the quick navigation drop down box is much to close to the page numbers. Which makes it hard to touch the next
Age button without click in the quick navigation, that would be fine if I could close the quick navigation box without having to open another page and go back.

Btw sorry is this thread has no place here, I had no idea where to post it. Edit: and I did mt know how to find the FAQ that told me where to post it lol I found it mow though.

That would probably require a skin re-design (or some unsupported custom tweaking).

Personally, I tend to think the skin is dire and actually looks slightly unfinished in places. However, there are other, more pressing, technical issues that require more immediate attention.

There is the intention to provide a mobile skin at some point (which may suit your needs better), but I have no timescale for implementation.

Also, again, for iPad users, like me too, (I figured while we're on the topic) the way the keyboard pops up, if you have the quick reply box up and are watching yourself type, sometimes if your going to his any of the top row of keys, you accidentally press the "previous/next thread". I dunno, I figured I'd mention that if you were considering a little tune up.

Altho, it's not too big of a problem, bc if you are typing something and you accidentally hit next or previous, if you go back to the page you apwere posting, or messaging, IME, what you wrote is still there, I don't know if hats a BL thing or an iPad thing (haven't tried it on my computer) but either way it's not that pressing bc of that reason.

ummm... that's part of the iPad keyboard. it means previous field/next field.

maybe you should post in the Apple Support forums. :D

(or get smaller fingers ;))

No it's not part of the apple keyboard. It's a link on the bottom of the BL page inside a light blue box, right above the "posting permissions" box, and right below the "post quick reply" and "go advanced buttons". It says "previous thread/next thread" when I hide the keyboard it's still there, and when I scroll down and move the quick reply box out of my screen the link moves on the page, like it's on the page.

I see what your talking about, the "previous/next buttons, but that's not what I'm talking about, those are actually out of the was and hard to hit because they're in the top left of the keyboard. But these links are right in the middle of the board.. If I knew how to put up a screen shot on the iPad I would.. :/

And I'm 5'1" 100 lbs, I have fingers like pencils.. I just type really fast. ;)
Sorry, I was just making a little suggestion..

Ahhh... I see what you mean now. Sorry. :D

I can't really replicate this being any kinda problem on my iPhone, which is obviously much smaller. Would resizing the quick reply box to make it larger help with the problem? Drag the bottom right corner down a bit.

It's ok, no biggie
But you can't actually do that on the iPad. I mean it's not that big of a problem, it's just that when you go to push the quick reply box, the screen and keyboard align itself in such a way that those links are right on top of the keyboard, sometimes you don't even think to adjust the page or anything and just hit it accidentally. Like I said its not really a big problem, but I figured while we were on the top of iPads and being a little tough to navagate the site I'd mention it.
I don't really use my iPhone for the site, is it easy? I'd imagine it'd be a strain and hurt my eyes eventually, after reading a lot. :/

I wasn't saying that it's a major problem, and I've never had the same issue as VaderisBaddAss. I do hope an ipad app of this forum gets released. i would buy it, but don't think I'm going to spend more than £2 on it lol
