just a little poem

[cosmo santos]

i had one of my wisdom teeth pulled out today
it hurts
i am stoned now
and realize how
my tooth was extracted from my skull
I feel my teeth and feel my bone
and i am grateful for having my own
but pain is possible with flesh
and i realize i dont want teeth,skull, and flesh
forever
i will be grateful to be put back into the earth
this feeling is also followed
by a feeling of fear of the unknown.
who knows, mabye im just stoned

Very, very intersting and thought provoking. Just two things that stand out for me; Forever! I think you know whats runnig through my mind on this point and I congratulate you for that very lucid thought. The second is with reference to being stoned, maybe you were but who says that being stoned is such a bad thing. I for one say that it helped me to look inside my soul, somewhere that most people don't look, I think you have and I think that the future will be your oyster as a result. Keep writing, keep living,
