our hot breaths intermingle with one another.
so close are you that i can feel the faint quivering of your mouth.
small,
slight words slipped out in the past,
conversing between us,
but now the silence of tranquility overpowers us.
slipping out,
as though not there,
your tounge grazes my rose-dyed,
flushed lips.
closer we move...
uncertainty set in as th whether or not we touch.
my eyes half-closed as i bring in the smell of your being.
suddenly the presence of you drifts away.
never wanting the moment to end,
i lean slowly after you...
trying to bring you back,
locking you in a kiss
that has been hanging in mid-air for eternity.
