Jung Personality Types

and ENSP once
I'm betting this was a typo and what was meant was ESFP once. S/N is one of the continiums or polarities so a MBTI type is going to have an N, a S, or if someone is borderline between the two an x. Since you get variable results on E/I & P/J you might note yourself as an xNTx.

Mind if I mention a very similar thread is going in P&S right now also started ages ago. Personality Test. Its kind of nice to be able to scan through the survey results and look for similarities and differences in people's presence on BL by their purported type.

Actually, I suffer from BPD. But I never tested myself while having manic episode... And then I get really extroverted, I guess. Last time when it was strong, I completely lost memory of what happened. Later some people I didn't recall I'd met were saying "hi" to me in front of university.

INFJ. I only seem to like opiates. Don't care for pot or drinking and I hate stimulants. Don't know if one thing has to do with the other, but its interesting.

INFP - I am a healer. reading thru it does sound an awful lot like me. i am definately an introvert and far too empathetic for my own good sometimes.

ENTP

Extraverted: 11%
Intuitive: 38%
Thinking: 50%
Perceiving: 11%

"ENTPs are usually verbally as well as cerebrally quick, and generally love to argue--both for its own sake, and to show off their often-impressive skills. They tend to have a perverse sense of humor as well, and enjoy playing devil's advocate" ---Nailed that one on the head!

Usually INTJ, which is pretty accurate as far as what the Myers-Briggs test actually measures - which is preferred ways of operating.

When I first took this test about 5 years ago I was an INTP; I've shifted to being more of an INTJ type over time.

I'm an INTP and recovering opiate addict. I rarely spent/spend money on anything other than depressants (opiates, benzos--currently in suboxone treatment, though that's about to change due to a lack of insurance), though I do enjoy throwing a little coke into the mix, and I still enjoy smoking pot and taking hallucinogens given the opportunity. I'll do anything if the price is right, though. One of my good friends is also an INTP and recovering opiate addict. My ex-girlfriend was an INFJ and psychology major, which is the reason I know my personality type to begin with. She wasn't an addict, but would use various drugs on occasion (mostly when she didn't have to pay for them, lol). I think it's a safe bet to say that most of my friends are introverts, and that most drug users probably are. This, IMO, is simply due to the fact that introverted people enjoy the taste of extroversion drugs like opiates, cocaine, alcohol, etc. can give them. The affinity for opiates is interesting, though. Perhaps it is due to a combination of introversion and depression? Drug preferences have always interested me, as certain drugs I downright dislike (mostly the more obscure ones, but I hate coming down off of stimulants, and not being able to sleep, etc.), while others I find the idea of using them every day to be rather impractical/unappealing, though I guess being dope sick all the time really isn't all that "practical" either, but at least it seems that way in the beginning, before it's too late. Interesting thread. Oh and, for whoever is interested, I forget the name of the test, but I also remember having trouble deciding whether I was a "personality type 6" or "type 9" based on the results of another personality test that my ex had me take.

seems somewhat on-point...personality in itself though (in my experience) is an extremely malleable aspect of the human mind

One thing I don't like about these Myers-Briggs personality types is how they seem so black and white. You have either one trait or another. According to it, I'm an INFP, although I'm really an "ambivert". I have equal amounts of introversion and extraversion. I enjoy having a wide network of friends, I like to socialise, I can easily express myself, but I also hate crowded public places, and sometimes I need time alone to recharge.

I prefer the so-called Big Five personality traits, as they actually show a percentage of each trait (openness, extraversion, conscientiousness, agreeableness, and neuroticism). Having said that, it's a bit limited and ideally should include a few more traits.

And for the record, I'm a meth addict. :)
