Jung Personality Types

Well they seem to be based on a lot of research and have reliability and validity. We used them in my psych classes. My profs wouldn't use anything that doesn't have those things.
I think drug use kinda depends on if you have an avoidance or escapism as part as your coping although I'm not really sure if thats a personality trait.
I thought I was an opiate person but perhaps I'm opiate and stimulant since I like Tramadol and Fioricet (which has caffeine in it, which I'm quite sensitive to.)

opiates go with adrenaline drugs ike caffeine and in the case of tramadol a two in one. caffeine is not your typical stimulant

I don't think these tests can really say all that much about a person. What they can tell is basically the way a person thinks or interprets information.

I'm INTP like a lot of people here and am an opiate and occasional coke user.

I think NP's are more prone to doing harder drugs or having problems with addiction, NP's are usually pretty spontaneous people who don't always organize their life as much as others. They're also usually creative and willing to try different things and take risks and what not.

entp-shroom fiend, very heavy hash bonger ,speed addict, ritalin problems, coke problems, MDMA overuse, HUGE mephedrone problems, alcohol problems, LOVE opium but can control use unlike stims, use tramadol as an antidepressant-150mg every morning only for past year, suffer from bipolar(although its not always suffering, cometimes its joy ballons for tiny tunes).

i like risks that can be localised to me and i get bored easily. drugs are the smallest risks with the greatest rewards that i can get away with in the workplace, and they keep me buzzing. the fact i have bipolar means when i'm not on drugs i look crazyier so its easier to hide

I agree with this, I remember when I first went to the specialist stimulant treatment centre, and the doctor said to me something like 'because you like meth rather than heroin, it shows you're a person who wants to get MORE done in life rather than just avoiding life'

And I didn't agree with that. I think using meth is also a huge avoidant tactic for me, it just so happens that for my personality (ie social anxiety etc etc) meth helps me avoid those problems while heroin doesn't, and for others it's vice versa. I think the drug that attracts you the most has a lot to do with a person's perceived shortcomings...

caffeine is not your typical stimulant
I also agree with this because while I love stimulants, I absolutely HATE caffeine.

Caffeine makes me productive and move faster. Idk you may not get as much PRODUCTIVE things on harder stimulants especially when you get all paranoid and start hearing shit and just basiclly freaking out, as well was just doing totally random useless stuff. But with the stimulant effects I'm motivated to get things done, something I have a hard time getting motivated.

INFP
Introverted Intuitive Feeling Perceiving

Famous people of your particular type
Princess Diana, Michel de Montaigne, J.K. Rowling, Anton Chekhov

interesting test, i was a heroin addict, and also like you submarine my first was amphetamines, i dont think there really is a drug i didnt try , and if i didnt it was because it wasnt around when i was big in my addiction, but i tend to stray towards drugs that relax me ashla

im INFP and INFJ. bit of both but they overlap quite alot.

addicted to downers.

INTP, and I am alllll about the opiates. I find it very hard to be sociable without drugs. But I'm still not convinced of the usefulness of these tests. Oh well :)

im stoked 2 find this here.... first time back after months and im lead 2 this thread.... my GP did this test wit me the other month:)
im INFJ
very interesting to see a couple of other INFJ here and an interesting concept overall..
had many many previous hassles with weed, op8s, speed, benzos all sorts of things.. nowdays im more limited in my use though, still up 2 have a little of this or that.. no real DOC though:\

hmm strange that infp is only one percent of population , but there seems to be quite a few of us in here just interesting

i Absolutely luv my Amphetamine Sulf (Whizz, fet,Speed)it's great dno whether it has anything to do with my INTJ Type Personality thoug but i feel great all the time, Rushing...

i just surf the net researching shit like Psychology, Drugs, Schizophrenia, MBTI All nith long for day on end...LOL : )

Ive caned about 4 Ozbournes of the stuff over the last week or so :)

;)

ENFP! First came across this test in year 11 Psychology. Haven't changed since then apparently. Most people I've shown it to have agreed that it is very accurate.

INFJ
interesting enough, my score is all over the place... but I was deemed "moderately introvert," hmm....

On the first test I'm a ENFJ. It says I'm a "slightly expressed extravert,
distinctively expressed intuitive personality, slightly expressed feeling personality,
slightly expressed judging personality."

The second says "Your Jung type is most likely ENTP (a[n] emotionally unstable version of the type)" haha emotionally unstable is dead on!

Then I took a third one that said I'm a ENFP.

Cool thread, OP, that was fun.

Oh yea and meth is my DOC although I am a poly drug user and will do just about anything.

I've done the Myers-Briggs personality test many different times and each time I get slightly different results.

Each time the results are pretty much 50%-50% between Extrovert and Introvert, and Perceiving and Judging. But I am always a clear F, like between 70-90%.

I feel like the one that describes me best is INFJ, which I've gotten as my result twice. Other times I've gotten ENFP, ENFJ twice and ESFP once.

How does it relate to my drug use?? I don't know actually...

I always score as INFP and ratios are mostly like 60% to 40%. The biggest difference has always been between "Introverted" and "Extroverted" and the smallest between "Intuitive" and "Sensing" (although I never got ISFP). Anyway I don't think I'm not outgoing and sociable. I'm never afraid to state my opinion, I can discuss with anyone, actually it's easy for me to hurt anyone verbally. Sometimes it's my idea in some group to go somewhere or do something, sometimes it turns out I'm the leader in some situation. But I do observe other people in various situations a lot. It was always helpful for me to judge people and so I know who may bring something good into my life and who may be around me only for his/her benefit, who I may be able to help, who I may form a good relationship with etc. So being an introverted person I spend most of my time with extroverted people. Nevertheless I favor this combination as it also means it's quite easy for me to notice interesting people in the group who are introverted just like I am. And I've always tended to get along better with girls than with guys.

Concerning personality tests, I value enneagram a lot because no matter how many times I do it and what questions are I get the same result and the description matches my personality. I really recommend it.
