I'm interested in finding the personality types of the 'problem' users of this board. I find that users of hard drugs tend to have introverted personality types
(even though they do display extroverted behaviours, especially on hard drugs =D )
Anyway, If you know your personality type please reply, otherwise, try testing yourself at
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp
or
http://similarminds.com/myers-briggs.html .

Thanks,

By the way, I have an INTP type personality (apparently).

ISFP on the first test, and INFP - "Questor" on the second one, but those tests can never tell the truth IMO, people are aways changing, specially those who do drugs...

oh, and should this really be on The Dark Side?

Portrait of the Performer (eSfP) "The Maestro" or "The Diva" hmmm sounds like me! that was the first test

A Trustee

I do use a lot of prescribed meds. for my bi-polar. I need
clonazapam for anxiety and nozinan for sleep. I don't use hard drugs. Just so you know.

A Mastermind in both tests...pretty glamourous title, i like it ;)

Im basically an introvert that smokes weed and reads alot.

Introverted (I) 71.88% Extroverted (E) 28.13%
Intuitive (N) 52.63% Sensing (S) 47.37%
Thinking (T) 61.76% Feeling (F) 38.24%
Judging (J) 62.86% Perceiving (P) 37.14%

ISFJ on the the first and ISFP on the second,

i was very torn on alot of questions because i think with impulsive adhd im naturally very unorganized and reliant on emotions to guide me but iv read alot of adhd people find they can't survive this way so like me when they want to get stuff done (not often these days) go to the other end of the specturm, become extremely organised and logical to combat their nature.

And has anyone found these tests useful/true?

If you notice they're just a repeat of questions worded differently. IE: Do you like things orderly? Are you fine when things are not in order?

ESTP - "Promotor". Action! When present, things begin to happen. Fiercely competitive. Entrepreneur. Often uses shock effect to get attention. Negotiator par excellence. 4.3% of total population.

Fiercely competitive is completely innacurate but the rest is.

What does negotiater par excellence mean?

Weird...

I'm sure I was more objective this time than when I did it back in high school, but still I'm the same...

ENFP -

Maybe we'll serve as foreign correspondents together someday, beanpoophead

;)

Thanks guys

Hey everyone,
I appreciate you taking the time to do the test and
post your responses. While I do have my own doubts as to the veracity
of these tests, I do think they are a thought provoking tool. While my assumptions seem to have been proven correct, the concentration of introverted personality types on this thread is astonishing. The results of course may be skewed by the fact that I started the thread, and gave my personality type as INTP.

I have the feeling that the majority of opiate addicts have INTP/INTJ type
personalities, as yet I have no hard data to back this up, but given enough
research dollars I believe that I could prove that this is the case. Oh well,
another pipe dream

I don't think that these personality types are set in stone, again however,
the results are interesting.

As for myself, the INTP I am the all-singing all-dancing polysubstance abuser.

Thanks again, any other responses would be greatly appreciated.

INTJ...

I just smoke alot of weed, no hard drugs.

Oh yea...the vague wording in the personality type descriptions could apply to many people, and the questions are vague and often repeated. Tests like this aren't worth the time it takes to complete them.

infp

I'm trained in jungian pyschology/MBTI so I can stab at a few questions.... If anyone has 'em.

Qualitative analysis of your type formula

very expressed intuitive personality

slightly expressed thinking personality

Thinking - 1%, that can't be good! :\

ENFP - "Journalist". Uncanny sense of the motivations of others. Life is an exciting drama. 8.1% of total population.

Pretty interesting, I usually don't get involved personally with drama but that don't mean I don't like to hear about it (gossipy). As for knowing motivations of others, I've always know I have that ability.

I use pyschedelics,stims,alcohol,cannabis
