Hey guys! I'm not usually this far out of PD but I wanna know what the rest of BL thinks about this, ESPECIALLY you guys here in CD.

Jump on over to the mega-thread I'm trying to start on the topic of gateway drugs. All opinions are welcome and encouraged, I want to know what EVERYONE thinks!

marijuana is not a gateway drug.

prohibition is the reason we have such a theory.

Prohibition is the cause of its very purpose.
 
I posted my comment on it, I somewhat agree with the theory, but it's not about the actual effects of marijuana, it's about the today's culture and lack of knowledge about the subject.
 
That link is a place for the "Gateway drug" theory and concept to be debated, or even for the cencept to be redefined. Forget prohibition, all the propaganda, and look at things objectively... Not only marijuana is under the lens.

Your thread has merit on its own, Thatmdmahead - it is not necessary to promote it in other forums. Also, I'm not sure that PD is the right place for it. The mods over there can make that call :)

You've raised a good topic and I encourage you to participate in individual forums according to their guidelines, and have fun :)
