juicing fresh marijuana plants

I was asked for a fresh mature flowered plant by a friend whos says his Doctor friend wants it so he can juice it and test for cannabinnoids. I dont know much about this and was wondering if anyone knew much about this experiment. How much of the juice do you think it would take to relieve pain or other diagnosis?
 
He's bullshitting, if you were to take a fresh marijuana plant and "juice" it in the traditional way, there won't be alot of cannabinoids in the juice (they are only very slightly soluble in water). Infact the only part of of the plant that contains THC in significant amounts is the flowers. More likely your friend is the "doctor", and he intends to run some experiments on the flowers (ignite them and inhale their fumes)
 
well hes paying for it first of all.and yes all the thc is in the flowers. so it makes perfect sense that if you juices the flower"buds" you would get thc in the juice. im looking for only positive post here guys. if you have no idea please dont knock it.
 
still the solubility of thc in water would make this difficult to extract efficiently unless some kind of solvent was added to the "juice"

perhaps everclear would do the trick

I think you should tell your doctor friend to look into making green dragon type tincture from thc laden plant matter

instead of making weed flavored pulp with hardly any thc in it. im not even sure theres enough water in marijuana to make a significant amount of juice..... It takes like 10 oranges to make a glass of oj and they are packed with juice.
 
I will definitely be posting the results in a week or two. I have no doubt that it will produce juice.Its going to be a whole indoor plant worth. About 2 to 4 ounces dry. How much Liquid, and how much THC is the question? I take it Master Splinter is'nt so reliable. Stick up for yourself Splinter. And Arob. It sounds like you've never done this so i'm sure you'll be interested in the results.

I fear that the thc will be trapped in the plant matter, as the water won't wash the thc off the buds or leaves.Sure the plant will make some juice, but its not going to be a huge amount and by no means anywhere near efficient extraction technique. If you add alcohol i think it will work.

now if you put the buds is a pressure cooker for a few hours and juiced you might get more thc out of it, because all the cells would be burst open.

you could just put fresh buds in a food processor and turn that shit into a slurry. then add some mangoes, bananas, and coconut ice cream, with a bit of nutmeg and cinnamon. enjoy. :D
 
I recentely gave a friend my trim from the last harvest and he made butane extraction. Its honey oi that they whipp over a heat source repeatedly and produces the best hash ive ever smoked. They say it was 90% thc. It was OG trim.
 
Juicing a plant wont work IMO. Does eating a plant work? No, not at all IME. For the same reason I fail to see the benefit in chugging trichrome juice. One would imagine it to be "extra crunchy" and oh so easy to drink.

the top vidio talks about how when you juice the plant and the flower it contains more thc and more caniboniods than when you smoke it because when you smoke it it destroys alot and transforms the molicules to get the user high. so if your looking to heal you illness juicing seems to be the way to go but if you are looking to get high heating the flower/ plant is the way to go
 
Well the cannabanoids are in the trichomes. The little crystals u see. Butane is the way to go as far as a solvent form of hash, imo. Make sure u get n-butane, not iso-butane. Headshops usually have the right kind. But all in all I like bubble bags or just plain sifted. U can top a bowl or press it into peices u can smoke in a hash pipe : )
