Jobs you can sustain when a pot head

you dumb fucks should stop settling for jobs that don't let you achieve your full potential.

marijuana ain't worth it. why make $10.00 an hour when you can make $30.00?

I agree about re-assessing your priorities.
Smoking pot can be wonderful, but when it takes over your life to the point that you will choose your job based on it, it seems like a problem to me.
Smoking occasionally seems to bring much more enjoyment and enlightenment, to me at least.

great job for stoners:

guy that works at a head shop

-you know all those guys are stoners, and they clearly are devoted to their hobby.

ANY job as long as you ain't a fuckwit about it. There are obviously certain jobs you probably shouldn't be high at but theres nothing to stop you coming home to a nice fat mix in the evening.

Learn how to grow it properly, sell it, smoke all you want. But trust me, even that gets old after a while. Chances are you'll get lazy from smoking all that awesome bud, then you'll start looking towards harder drugs to catch a different buzz. I recommend keeping it under control, like once or twice after work.

Dunkin donuts is a GREAT place tok work for a stoner...free coffee, donuts, and breakfast sandwhiches. The first time i walked in when i was stoned...the donut case was STACKED!!!
My eyes were about to POP!!!

More people like you need to post in CD.

I would, but I can be kinda critical of stoners and I would just piss people off and make enemies. I just know too many people IRL that are worse off with their pot habit than other friends who use harder drugs. Never worked in their life and try to support their habit by pinching bags they get for others and always showing up with a blunt wrap that needs to be filled.

My opiated brothers and sisters at least understand you need cash if you want to fund a habit and not waste a buzz hustling for a quarter gram of weed.

This is just some of my own exp. not always the case but often is

POP!!! Just like your pancreas and heart will someday.

yeah,..........I'm a pot head. Don't be like me.

I agree with this man. Nothing against cannabis users, but if you were an employer who needs to make money in the high stakes market we have today, would you want people working for you being high as hell? Haha...I know I wouldn't, but if you guys say you can preform just as well sober, then more power to you =D

I refuse to go to work without a high blood cannabinoid level. Whether it's IT management, food service, professional driving, photography, or whatever. Even when I had my own business and office space sharing a lobby with the city post office, it constantly smelled like blunts inside and I'd like to see them try to do anything about it.

Its less about the weed than it is the individual. Some people get super lazy when they are stoned; others feel more focused. Its a weird drug like that. Just know your limits and be responsible. For me I work better with a doob in the am than a cup of cofee or whatever else people use to wake up. It makes me excited to get out of my house and interact with people instead of just being pissed off and wanting to go back to sleep.

the simplicity of your question made me laugh... yea, good luck with that

If you are talking about a career, which I doubt from the way you post, you need to find a job you enjoy not just some job you can get high at. Don't be a lazy waste of life.

If you are a teenager, basically any job you will probably get will end up being straight.

Im an IT guy! Datacenter tech to be specific. I can smoke before I go to work and be just fine. but as someone stated above, this is what I like to do and its become second nature, stoned or sober.

^ Seconded on the IT work while blazed. Lotsa support/tutoring work is fairly straightforward and entertaining, if you know what you're doing then you can get by, baked daily, just fine :)
