Misc Japanese DXM/codeine/methylephedrine cough medicine - experienced advice needed

went down to the local pharmacy to see what i could find for the day.

came up with a bottle of cough pills and a bottle of syrup.

pills contain

carbocisteine ***
dehydro codeine
dl- methyl ephedrine
and chlorpheniramine **

drink contains

DXM
guaifenesine **
chlorpheniramine **
and methylephedrine

good?
dosage?
could anybody shed some light on what actually the chemicals are that ive asterisked?
ive never seen methylephedrine in a medicine before
is that an all right stim, given its over the counter?

any thoughts experience or advice appreciated!!!

It's useless for recreational purposes.

Methylephedrine is even worse than ephedrine, e.g. useless except as a bronchodialator. The only reaosn it's a stimulant is because it's metabolised to ephedrine.

Carbocisteine makes your mucus thinner. So does guaifensin. Guaifensin makes people puke and get gas in overdose - I would imagine carbocistien would do the same.

Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine and is the #1 Bad Ingredient seen in Coricidin pills that makes them unsafe for use.
 
and the codeine and dxm?? i must say, fro a toally useless medicine it is remarkably euphoric, entactgenic, dreamy sense of utter well being and spine tinglingly blissful with a slight dissacotiave trippy edge to it...
notmuch of a stimulation, but im not nodding off at all either.....

So why did you even bother asking about safety and dosage if you're going to drink an undefined amount anyway?

If you take too much chlorpheniramine you'll get delerious.
 
i appreciate your input dont get me wrong.
perhaps i didnt articulate myself succinctly enough when i made the op.
I was intending on using it anyway. as i enjoy codeine and opiates in general, andf have foind dxm to be a very interesting altered state of consciousness to be in at timees.
i was lookng for any experience reports, thoughts, suggestions and just general info.
and advice is welcome, sure, but ultimately i choose to follow it or not.
thats my discretion right?
dismissing these meds as being entirely useless. i disagree.

i reaserched all over the place not only bluelight.

You said it was dihydrocodeine in your original post,which is better then codeine (a little bit) and I'm sure that it is responsible for any euphoria you may be feeling.
 
yeah man I would stick to those pills, It looks like you are in japan right now, so maybe try the oceana forum on here.

The amount of dihydrocodeine you can take is probably limited by the antihystamine and the anti-mucousal agent. You should look at those to determine safe doses, and that will tell you how much DH-codeine you have to mess with.
