Jan 6 Attack on the Capitol and the aftermath

After making a hissy fit and calling for a special master in his case, Trump is now calling to fire the special master (that he agreed to) after he did regular special master things and asked for information from Trump. Trump now wants an "extra special master" (which doesn't exist), aka a blatant call out for someone corrupt who will do his bidding.

“This Dearie, he’s a beauty, he really is,” Trump told reporters. “He’s asking for information. He’s asking for information like you wouldn’t believe. He’s a bad or sick guy.”

Larry David himself could not write a script like this.

Hmm, that is odd…be interesting to see what the guy was asking for and or how trump figures he’s a activist , but if he is then there should definitely be a less bias person on the case, not a whole lot of info in that link so will have to wait and see what els comes out

Its important to note that Trump, his lawyers and the DOJ all bipartisanally agreed on that guy as special master after weeks of dispute over who should be special master.

It's obvious Trump is trying to rig the case towards his own side, which is probably difficult since nearly every lawyer in the entire nation doesn't want to go near him. He's clawing at any sort of option he has to rig it. It's obvious he's guilty. Whether or not he will actually be prosecuted I'm less certain about because this country is fucked.

If it wasn't someone that Trump and his lawyers appointed, then I might entertain the possibility that he has a legitimate concern. But since it is, occam's razor suggests that he was hoping the guy would basically not do his job at all, and was surprised at being asked for information that he is trying to hide. I mean otherwise, why wouldn't be just give the information?

“He’s asking for information. He’s asking for information like you wouldn’t believe. He’s a bad or sick guy.”

:ROFLMAO:

Nothing says innocent like trying to paint someone asking for information in an investigation as a "bad, sick guy".

...Or wait, is that the opposite?

fucking LOL @ "extra special master" :ROFLMAO:

"Extra special master" sounds like an S&M fetishist's partner trying to reassure them during a moment of self-doubt..."don't worry honey, you're an extra special master"

Goddamn Trump, man...some people have a way with words, he has his way with words

I posted something similar in the Mar a Logo Raid thread :) (post #198)

This just in. Jan 6 Committee chair rep Bennie Thompson said there will likely be another hearing on Sept 28 at 1pm Eastern time.

I also saw today that SCOTUS justice Clarence Thomas's wife Ginni Thomas has made an agreement to testify at a future hearing. The plot thickens.

"I can declassify documents just by thinking about it. The president can do whatever he wants."

"The FBI raided my home looking for Hillary Clinton documents."

you guys think this was a real thing and not staged like everything else ?

Yeah definitely. A family member of one of my friends went but decided not to go in. All you have to do is go on social media or the comments section of almost literally any news article to see that a lot of people feel strongly enough about politics to make this event seem feasible.

Yea, a real riot happened, only instead of damaging innocent businesses they damaged a government building, I actually think that’s more honorable than ruining a hard working persons life by fucking up their business :/

That's a good point actually. I think their intentions overall were much more worrisome though. It's a fact of life unfortunately, in big protests, people tend to start rioting. I mean in some countries they commonly riot and loot after big soccer matches (sorry, football). It's fucked up, some people see things like that as an excuse to become fucking animals. But literally trying to overturn an election... that is a bad sign of things to come. And not something we should minimize by comparing it to other things.

Trump is now claiming some CIA agent found evidence on "Biden's laptop" of a plot to plant evidence at mar a lago to frame him.

He already admitted to taking the documents...

I'm sure it's all over Fox news, or will be, and their massive viewership will be up in arms about it, and it will no longer matter what happens from now on for them. :\
I think it's somehow telling that he didn't even specify which Biden. I assume he means Hunter, but simply "Biden's laptop" seems like a mistake and subconscious combination of "Hillary's laptop" and Hunter Biden.

He blamed Hillary at first, now Biden. Scrambling hard.

I honestly think this whole Jan 6 ordeal is a giant smoke screen, for what I’m not entirely sure, but it is starting the feel like a miss direction tactic
