There is a world of difference between wanting to "see their political enemies suffer" and wanting to hold someone accountable for their crimes. The only reason anyone is suffering is because they are guilty as hell.
This is flat out propaganda on so many levels. "Unarmed non-violent trespassers" is so far from the truth it is laughable and sad at the same time. Clearly you did not watch the second impeachment trial or the first Jan 6 hearing. For those of you who are too lazy to watch the hearings in full, here is just one 11 min clip. I suggest going to youtube and watching more videos of the insurrection. You will see angry protestors armed with flag poles, clubs, sticks, and other weapons violently attacking LEOs and destroying property:
As for the Epps guy, did you simply ignore my post above or do you have serious reading comprehension problems? I already stated how Epps didn't have a fraction of influence that Trump and Giuliani had. I'm not saying Epps shouldn't be charged but his actions were very different than the actions of those in power who actually instigated the entire insurrection starting back in November 2020. Hell, even in the video you posted, they were chanting "Fed! Fed! Fed!" because they knew he was a fake and a possibly a plant. smfh

Liberals aren’t able to see hypocrisy or Duplicity. Maybe if an official state media source noticed it, but that’s a big maybe. Reminds me of Biden, dudes clearly been demented since 2019, but they are only acknowledging it now bc it’s being noticed in official propaganda. It’s sort of like a green light for them to know that the group think has progressed, and that it’s now an official thing they are allowed to speak to.

As things get worse, these state officials will feel the need to decertify the election. Only true believers in the establishment think there wasn’t major fraud in those handful of counties that decided the election. I still crack up that Joe biden ‘got‘ 12 million more votes than Obama and had more of the black vote lmao. Drunpf of course got 12 million more votes the second time around, which is unprecedented. Biden didn’t even win half the counties Obama did in 2012, and lost in all but one bell whether county of the twenty. Of course there were tens of million more votes than registered voters, who could forget that. Anyone voting in federal elections at this point is either a true believer or simply not paying attention. Shits so sad

An insurrection would be defined as a group taking over Dc to start passing laws etc. A bunch of boomers were literally ushered into the capital to take selfies and cause minor property damage. And only an female 105 pound marine vet was executed while unarmed by a person very bad at their job. The real tragedy is the five capital police officers that were present that have since ‘committed suicide‘. Gotta hand it to the feds this was one of their better ops, and even their assets like epps are gonna get off scott free.

I do find it really interesting how the 2 sides see each others actions totally differently, I feel like I’m seeing it pretty clearly and so does the other side, but who is right, is anybody right ? Or are we all just running through the smoke so we can’t see what’s going on around us, it does seem like if your on the right you are almost instantly considered a bad guy, which should be a red flag, but what do I know

There are people on either side that are well intentioned, but it’s really hard to tell who’s who. A rule of thumb is that if the establishment takes issue with someone, then they are probably doing something right.

You make good points here. For me it boils down to where are you getting your info about the attempted coup? Most of the people in this thread defending the Jan 6 rioters have not been watching the hearings. IMHO you don't have to choose a side to watch and learn from the hearings. The hearings have been full of video evidence as well as first (and second) hand eyewitness accounts, the vast majority of whom are fucking republicans. But republicans who care about their oath to uphold the Constitution more than an oath to a known con and grifter. But to NOT watch the hearings and get your opinion filtered through xyz news site, you are just asking to get taken to school on the subject.
I defy you, Dropper, Electrum, etc to watch all 7 hearings in full and see if you don't change your tune at least a little bit. Number 8 will be Thursday, stay tuned.....

The establishment is made up of republicans and democrats, it’s a uniparty. I saw all the videos of 1/6 when it happened. It happened exactly how I said, they literally open the doors for them and usher them in. People walk in taking pics causing minor property damage. A officer assassinates a 105 pound woman for reasons unknown. Then it was basically over. So they let some people walk into the capital after being let in and coaxed in by shady characters like ray epps, and now we have endless propaganda and impeachment number 3. It’s hard for wing nuts to think objectively, but those of us that hate all of them see things pretty clearly.

But a member of the US House of Representatives, AOC, stated that the Capitol Police were holding the doors open and letting "insurrectionists" in. That's not breaking and entering, is it?
She has gone on record asking for an investigation of why the Capital Police did this, claiming that it was an "inside job".
I honestly don't know what to think anymore.

That's exactly what I did and did not make it political at all other than referencing gun rights (which was outside of the point).
A woman, breaking the law, being ordered many times to stop by a police officer under threat of deadly force, ignores the commands and then gets shot by police.
What is complicated about that? I did not reference anything else or talk about other aspects of that day. Just talking about that woman.
I have no idea how anyone could see it any other way or think that woman did not get what she asked for. Frankly I'm surprised more people didn't get shot that day.
