i agree the issue is clouded by the fact that the laws differ from state to state. that's why, in many cases, the specific charges are forgery, impersonation, filing false documents, filing false instruments, etc.

he is the only president who suggested suspending the constitution.

and his supreme court justices just ruled that the president is, in certain cases, above the law. he can not be charged for crimes for which a regular u.s. citizen can be charged.
