So whats the general consensus among the BL community on this strain. I think its wicked.

Has anyone grown or smoked it? If so please describe its traits/attributes.
The jack i had was a 1 hit thing; a single bong rep and it felt as if a 747 landed on my faccee. Thanks
 
I've had plenty of JH over the past 5 or 6 years. One of my favorite strains for sur e (and one of my favorite activists too hehe). It is a 3 way cross of Skunk #1, Haze, and NL#5. So you get a good dose of Sativa with a little indica buzz to bring more fullness to the buds and the high.

Good jack is characterized by both a strong head buzz in combination with a very heavy body high. The taste has always seemed earthy/piney to me.
 
Its an amazing strain for sure.
Perfect for nighttime, where you still want to think abit (writing in bed).
 
i have smoked this strain only 1 time b4, the taste was not as sweet as i usually like it the high was nice body buzz i didnt give me that much head high more body 4 me.
 
The last time I smoked with Jack I actually brought some bud with me that the dispensary I bought it from called "Jack Herer". Apparently he doesn't like people calling bud "Jack Herer" unless he has personally approved it. %)

Im sure theirs a good few variations at this point but i think sensi and other outlets do have legitimate jack (with a TM so jack H probably was notified before hand) if anyone is willing to drop $300+ on seeds.

I read somewhere that "jock horror and jah of light" were suppose 2 be Jack Herer but a good few heads called bull shit on that & stated the later were knock offs; I dont think iv smoked the later 2.
 
its a really old 80's strain i like some of the newer stuff like kush's and hybrids if you ask me the 70 day flowering time really kill it for me IMO even though it is quality smoke
 
its the second most potent strain i've ever smoked, beautiful bud too, golden hairs and so crystallized that it appears to be pale green from so much white.
 
Dude cmon like so many people have said they had legit Jack Herer. I get a variety of bud but for maybe a solid year I had a connect in the town next to me for the best bud I've ever smoked,sold, or seen yet to date. It's some shit that looks like it was in cannabis cup. Cured perfectly too. That guy never told me what it was he just said here's your dank ass bud and that's it not yo son I got that jack herer it's just a marketing scheme.

it was once my favorite strain... but lately i've just been in the mood for some powerhouse shit. can't really explain the feeling but i still have to say that jack herer will never leave my top 5 (unless someone bestows upon me the entire sagarmatha strain catalogue in cured form... please god, please exist to grant me this one wish!)

I love this strain, it's a perfect sativa in my eyes, hybrids are nice as well picked up an 1/8 of Jack Frost and it was quite satisfactory as well.
 
Jack herer is the second best bud I've ever smoked. Sour diesel in my opinion was just as potent but way more pleasant to smoke, so it's the best in my book.

A friend of mine just gave me a seed the other week. The baby plant is short and stout with dark green, very broad leaves. Looks like it's going to turn out nice =) It look's MUCH nicer then the sprouts that come from your average mid grade seed.

Well, next to White Widow. I like different strains for different occasions.

BTW, I've heard many different pronunciations, and seen many different spellings.
I've heard Jack Her-AHR, Jack HUHR-uhr.
I've seen Jack Herar, and Jack Herer.

Sooo..... WTF?

i recently had some home grown jack horror.
It is such beautiful and tasty pot.
very Uplifting mental high.

Iv told this story before but since there is another thread on jack herer ll post it again.
Lat summer at a music festival where i had been smoking pot all day, non stop, it wasnt even getting me high anymore. Well we ran across a guy selling jack herer and decided to buy some and roll a joint.
This joint was smoked between 5 people and every single one of us got very VERY high.

thats my fondest memory of smkoing jack herer.

oh then i ate a bunch of LSD or something %)
