First off - sorry for double Post (posted to the mega thread as well). But time is of the essence for me on this.

Ok... been in Sub for about 2 months (Dr started me at 16 mg!!! did that for 2 days then went down to 2mg twice daily) which seems to maintain things just fine.

Had a small relapse today and IV'd 2 - 60 mg Morphine tabs. Tomorrow I will undoubtedly wake up in withdrawal from the full agonist morphine. So by tomorrow night I would like to take some sub so I can sleep and be semi normal for my family reunion on Sunday. Question is - will IV'n the SUboxone be the best way to wash the full agonists off the receptors and minimize precipitated withdrawal? Or - Sub w/alcohol method? Or insufflation? First slip off the wagon and bad timing due to family reunion. There will be many eyes on me looking for the old signs of abuse that is nowhere near a family secret. I have read through the thread and see a lot of diff opinions on this, but was hoping a few might have an answer like "yes - I did the exact same thing and this is what works). I am leaning towards IV'n but would feel better about this with some feedback.

Thanks for any advice.

I reccomend taking the suboxone in TINY incrimants. It really doesnt matter what ROA you use, its more about HOW much you use. Because if you use too much at once, and you still have alot of opiates on your receptors, you could be thrown into PW's for a long time. But in small incrimants, you should be able to tell if your good to go and can take the rest of the suboxone. Pretty much the very first "small incriment" you take should be able to tell you if you are safe to take more suboxone....you will either feel nothing but relief, or you will feel a small amount of PW's because of the small suboxone dose. If I were you I would do it either sublingual or intranasal.

but since you said you are allready going to be in withdrawals, you should be OK to take the suboxone....withdrawals means that you have no more full agonists on your receptors(or almost no more).

ROA is irrelevant, precipitated WD will still occur.

It's better that you just go to sleep and wake up the next morning, then take your Suboxone.

We can discuss this in the mega thread, so if you have any more questions, just ask in there. :)
