And what an utter disappointment. :(

A little background....

Five years ago I was a recreational meth user, about an eight ball a month, only on weekends. The shit I used to get was pretty high quality and not stepped on too hard. I stopped because things started to get out of hand and I'm lucky enough to have enough self control to just walk away from stuff.

I always knew I was ADHD since high school (I'm 34 now) and was finally formally diagnosed a year and a half ago. Doc started me with Ritalin (did not like:p). On the next visit 2 weeks later, I asked for Adderall and have been on 20mg IR x 3/day since....a little over a year now. Recreationally and therapuetically speaking, it's been great, aside from the tolerance I've built.....gonna need a break soon.

Last week I tip-toed my way into a script for the legendary Desoxyn. Methamphetamine HCL. Generic, made by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. My Doc didn't even bat an eye when I said I wanted to try it, he just smiled, whipped out his pad and wrote me a script for 5mg x 2/day. I couldn't believe it!!! 8o

Getting a pharmacy to even order it was the hardest part....after 2 days of calling every pharmacy within 20 miles of me, Rite Aid agreed to order it for me.

A couple hours ago I got home and popped 5 of them 5 mg bastards. Nothing. Not a damn thing. An hour later I popped 5 more. That's 50mg of "pure, pharmacutical" meth within 2 hours. Not a damn thing. Nothing. I CAN'T FEEL SHIT!!!!! :X

How is it I can get a nice buzz from 40mg of Adderall IR, but 50 mg of "The King of CNS Stims" doesn't do a damn thing for me?
 
You've either got a killer tolerance, your stomach was super acidic or those pills were bunk.

That is quite a strange reaction my friend, 50mg is a lot of the pure stuff...

As far as tolerance, I can actually feel 40mg of Adderall IR.....to me, it stands to reason 50mg of Desoxyn would give me some kinda head change, right? As far as acidity, (I ain't no nO0b....lulz) I took 2 1000mg Tums on an almost empty stomach. It's been an hour since I took the second 25mg (for a total of 50mg within 2 hours) and it feels like I took just one of my 20mg Barr generic Adderall IRs. How retarded is that? :?

Read that recently, actually. That dude places Desoxyn above Adderall.....at this point, I place Desoxyn below all ADHD meds: Ritalin, Dexies, Addys and so forth.

I thought 50mg of Desoxyn would have felt like a nice, fat line or a good hit off a pipe. I've had bigger rushes from a few cans of Red Bull!!!

All we can do is speculate about why you didn't get stronger effects so I'm going to close this.
