So I recently acquired a bunch of 3mg alprazolam xr and cimetidine and the first couple times I took the alprazolam without the cimetidine and it worked just fine, then I tried taking about 800mg of cimetidine and alprazolam thinking it would give me a great boost, but absolutely nothing happened! So I ended up taking 12 more Alprazolam and still nothing happened. The next day I tried the same thing again and nothing happened again. then the next day , I took my alprazolam without the cimetidine and it actually worked.
I called pharmacist after pharmacist asking why it worked the first couple days then absolutely nothing happened. and he suggested that the acid reduced in the cimetidine reduced the acid in my stomach so much that it couldn't properly dissolve the alprazolam. So I tried it the next day and to my surprise just 2 Alprazolam worked!
Has anyone else had any experiences like this?
Do you think the pharmacist was right? because I was completely sober on 36mg of alprazolam and that's really unusual for me.
If anyone else has any other ideas please let me know. I don't want to was anymore alprazolam.
