Hello.
Ive been using suboxone now for about a year. I used to let pieces of the strips dissolve in my nose and that worked out just fine, very successful. However, my needle fetish came with a vengence and I began using sub exclusively IV. Now, Id done this before occasionally and never had an issue (that I recall).
Lately, for the past several months I have been breaking out in what looks to be bites, somerimes almost like hives. The odd thing is that they appear at and around the injection site. I currently have these bites on both arms, all over my hands and on both feet. The bites appeared within hours of injecting the sub. I have been keeping track and I KNOW the Iv sub and vitrs/breaking out are related.
Question: has anyone else had this experience? Or, what could this be... Why is this happening? An allergic reaction? Are insects (say... Bedbugs, any kind of bug...) drawn to the injection site? I am teying topical benedryl fot the itch, but it's not doing much. This is craaaaazy!
Thanks, folks
hope I dont wake up with bites near this evenings injection site :-S
