IV Opium?

Now for the first time in close to 2 years I've managed to find an opium source. While smoking it on a bowl is a great way to do it..can you IV it? If it's similar to that black tar crap, and heroin being an opiate, is this doable? Or is it even suggested? Bad? Couldn't find a specific when I searched.It seems kinda dirty, messy, whatever so I'm not sure I want to try this.

Well since opium is basically plant latex, there is gonna be a lot of organic shit besides morphine in there that you dont really want to inject into your veins

You do NOT shoot opium... you either smoke it, or refine it to a form that CAN be injected... as is, there is to much plant crap... IF you could even get it to disolve (good luck) it would be a minimum high, maximum work, and a decent risk....

It doesn't seem soluable enough to put in your veins without having some problems even if it does work.
