The real issue with Fentanyl, besides the risk of OD, is the possibility that you dont OD and have a supply for it cheap from China or something. The problem is most of us have issues with controlling and keeping our use at a steady state. If ask the subset of people here that have Fentanyl analogs that they can inject on a regular basis I am sure some of them love it others regret it and some wonder if they can ever get off just like any recreational opiate. The only issue is the latter group of people probably shoot some amount you can not even begin to imagine like 30-50mg as in MILLIGRAMS because of a basically unlimited supply and the rapid comedown from it in mere months use can sky rocket into seemingly unknown territory.
This is why I would never get it somethings are best left not experienced. I had access to it once from someone every experienced we were both too nervous to give me a crazy amount and I barely felt anything over my methadone. I could have kept trying and eventually gotten it right but for my future I decided the failed attempts were best. I just want anyone who might find themselves tempted to get a supply that sometimes ODing isnt the worst out come. I could only imagine the fear of looking at cold turkey from 30mg of fentanylm IVed every 4-6 hours. Wondering if methadone or suboxone can even make it easy.
