I tried looking for threads but from what I've seen this can go from bad to worse in a matter of minutes. I injected into the 'vein' closest to my pinky finger on my left hand. Bright red blood. Shit. Next thing I knew (did not finish the shot obviously) I was in searing pain, burning and discoloration of the hand. The wound did not bleed and I believe the radial artery is on the other side of the wrist, so I am confused and panicked. Could I get some opinions and info here ASAP? Thank you.
Edit: Hand still feels a little weird. There was no rush but a decent shot, but burning/tingling is gone.

Call an ER or afterhours doctor bro.

There's no need to be ashamed, and most doctors are professionals who will use proper professional discretion and happily help regardless of how it happened. Most couldn't give 2 shits that you were trying to IV coke, they just want to give you the info you need to ensure you're safe (i.e. if it warrants (immediate?) medical attention).

^Pancake basically hit the nail on the head. By your description, is does sound like you may have nicked an artery. Here on bluelight, we are not doctors and cannot accurately diagnose, assess, or treat any medical issues that may arise from drug use.

The best thing to do, if you are scared about your health, is go see a doctor or go to the ER.

It doesn't matter that you were using drugs, or if you have no insurance. They are obligated to treat you to the best of their ability, and I recommend getting it checked out juts to be on the safe side.

I am goign to close this, for the aforementioned reasons. If you use the search engine you will find a number of threads regarding arterial injections and complications. Also do a search for the IV complications mega thread, you will find a wealth of information regarding complications due to IV drug use.

Good luck.
