^ 23G for injecting?!
I don't IV, but have a close friend who does, often, and he prefers the 29-31G, 0.5-1cc insulin syringes, the ten-pack ones for U-100 insulin that you can buy
without a prescription in pharmacies up to in CA since 1/1/2012 if you're over 18yo, they'll sell you a ten pack for about a third of the cost of a bag of dope (trying not to be specific with pricing, but it's very cheap and worth it).
Make sure to use safe injection techniques (check the megathread!), and use each syringe/needle/works
only once before disposing it in a hard-plastic sharps container, or a thick vitamin bottle with "HOME SHARPS" written with a permanent marker, and look for needle exchanges around you, most big cities have several around you no matter where you live.
You are injecting drugs
directly in to your circulation, so there's absolutey no filtering safety mechanism like there is with oral ROA, which means any amount of bacteria, non-sterile works, or poor injection techniques make it so your body doesn't have any protection against it, leading to possible endocartitis, pulmonary embolisms, talcosis of the lungs, etc. Be careful, and good luck!
