we both should have realized
it wasn't the right time
to look at each other that way
to touch each other
to let those emotions out
it wasn't the right time
to complicate things
when we can't deal with them
the truth may hurt, but lying is more painful
its not fair for either of us
that things are how they are right now
and that this is the way it has to be
we let it all happen even though
it wasn't the right time
it was one of those moments
that gets lost in the spaces between time
