Additionally both religions have apocryphal books that talk about the end result of this fight. Both books say it does not end well for anyone.
Even the Christian Bible has their own version, but they are Gentiles and Infidels .
It's like no one in these three religions have bothered reading their own Scriptures

According to religious text at least. But I personally think going off religious text to excuse this conflict is a poor argument, which is what many Israelis seem to do as well as US Evangelicals
It's not an excuse, it is just an explanation of the internal beliefs of those actually in the conflict; and how incredibly ironic the conflict is if they actually follow their religions.
Neither is a shining example of forgive and forget, let alone peace.
