Israel is under attack

These names you're dropping are not the great examples you think they are, friend.
it's really tough to find sincere rightoids that aren't super evil... i still think my point stands, especially when a majority of polled republicans support a ceasefire

If this kid was black instead of Jewish and he was being blocked by maga hat wearers instead of mask wearers , I wonder if the reaction would be any different? 🤔

I guess we now know what it takes to be expelled from one of these universities: literally promote the mass death of all "Zionists".

That seems disingenuous, the encampment is not blocking any doors to any buildings as far as I'm aware, he could simply walk around

So you're saying the Jewish students paying tuition there do not have the right to access certain parts of their campus, and that's okay with you? Other students can physically block them?

Please excuse the Daily Wire but I couldn't find any other video of it. This peaceful protester threatens to kill a "white faggot" Israel-supporter in front of the NYPD and is allowed to walk free.

these idiots don't realize that it's illegal to obstruct or otherwise prevent another person's education

it's actually a fairly serious crime

I remember in 9th grade a substitute teacher literally called the police on my buddies and I, because we were joking around and laughing during art class. They brought us down to the office and the school cop told us how serious of a crime it was. Gave us a little pamphlet. :ROFLMAO:

there is nothing wrong with protesting, but blocking access to the school is the same thing as protesting in the middle of a highway

Education is not happening in the middle of the encampment. No buildings are being blocked

Yes, on the other side of the encampment where he could access by walking around the grassy area where is encampment is. There are a bunch of people counter protesting and trying to get inside the encampments to try and provoke people. This video is a result of that. The building which is far in the background of that video is not being blocked, the student organizers of the protest have worked with campus security to ensure compliance with rules and regulations

They appear to be blocking Royce Hall and possibly Haines Hall, which are in the middle of the campus.

"UCLA’s approach to the encampment is guided by several equally important principles: the need to support the safety and wellbeing of Bruins, the need to support the free expression rights of our community, and the need to minimize disruption to our teaching and learning mission"

They aren't blocking buildings, it has been organized to avoid that

These people have no right to claim that section of campus or any section of campus as their own, or to control who enters or passes through it. I seriously can't believe you are attempting to justify this.

Its a protest dude. There have been clearly documented instances of counter protesters trying to cause trouble so yes I think the restriction is warranted. You can clearly see the encampment is not blocking any areas being used for education so I think we should be asking, what is the true purpose of that student filming themselves trying to get in the encampment and what were they going to do once inside?

The true purpose is to document the discrimination taking place there and what is being allowed to happen.

Let me explain something to you. That kid is paying tuition to access any area of that campus he wants. I don't give a fuck if you are protesting or not, they don't have the right to physically block him. Period.

If the ideological positions were reversed, I would be saying the exact same thing. If this was a maga camp and they were blocking a trans person from entering would you be making the same arguments too?
