Israel is under attack

Can anyone explain to this ignorant Euro exactly what the beef is between Palestine and Israel?
at this point they are both wrong. No one can explain this shit without years of research into the history that spans over a century. It's just endless tit for tat BS and at this point no one is right and everyone is part of the problem.

What's odd is that what I discussed in this comment I made earlier (above) was sort of a random musing, but funny enough, I was just reading an article about the current conflict just now, and this conflict actually does revolve around the mosque

True, but that's like saying the war is primarily about Scientologists if one Scientologist gets injured in the fighting, or saying the war is about vanilla iced cream of one of the Arabs is spotted eating a bowl of iced cream.

The peanut gallery in here eariler were blaming this on religion because they're anti-religionists. You know how to a libertarian, all problems are caused by government, and they actually claim that if all government went away life would be better? Or people in AA claim that alcohol causes all problems, and that if we all gave up drinking life would be better? An anti-religionist cannot resist the temptation to take pot-shots at religion, so if they find one corpse on the battlefield with a Qu'ran in his pocket, they will blame religion. The conflict has only been going on for a few hours and they're already blaming religion.

What would you do with the somewhat common suggestion that this is primarily a side-effect of the Nuland-Kiev-Moscow conflict?

A very small percentage of wars have been fought over religion. Almost all are started because of fighting over resources, desire for wealth and power or other economic reasons.

Religion is not the problem. Human nature is the problem.

Call me cynical but I was beginning to wonder what the next current thing would be, given the Ukraine situation has lost its pizzazz. Somehow Mossad was able to miss this evidently well coordinated plot, from Gaza, Lebanon, and maybe more to come?

Sadly though this is normal when it comes to modern history. It's easy to forget the last hundred years of conflict over the world. Everyone in the US remembers the big ones that we were directly involved in. But unless you are a fan of history normal people don't remember the other wars other nations fight all over.

There is an average of 3 armed conflicts going on every year somewhere on the planet.

Outside a waffle bar, I chat to Yedidia Mosawi and Sharon Barazani, both in their 20s.
Yedidia tells me he works in security and comes from a settlement further south, near Hebron.
"It's an amazing place, very important for Israel," he says of the West Bank - or the Hebrew Biblical name of Judea and Samaria, as many Israelis refer to it.

I ask about Mr Netanyahu's plans. He suggests it's not enough.
"[We should] apply Israeli law to all of this land. It's ours in history. For the Jewish people it's the most important - we don't have another country to go to."
Sharon adds: "You can't tell people to go from their land, their home."

@F.U.B.A.R. I think this quote sums up the attitude pretty well. Zionists just think it's theirs. Has always been. Everybody else was just visiting, but it is over now.

What I have gathered, Israel region was previously part of UKs imperialist state (everybody else was just regent, but we are the true governors). Then stuff got hot in Europe when fascism raised its ugly head. Lots of jews emigrated from Europe to Palestine, because no country was particularly willing to take jews (everybody else is of lesser nation and we don't let them visit). 1947 UK demanded that some General Assembly makes a decision about Palestine. Which ended with deal about having jewish state (not state with jews, but jewish state). UK didn't give a fuck and tried to prevent jews of immigrating to Palestine for a short while. Civil War started between zionists and Arab Liberation Army. British state supported the arabs. Lots of people did flee. Actually I didn't really get the whole picture with minute detail, so if you are confused, so am I.

Then there has been lots of stuff going on, leading to present moment, which is pretty morbid. Zionists pushed the "unwanted population" they once were in Europe in their own little area decades ago, makes life of people in Gaza deliberately very hard and even deadly, and even restricts emigrating the fuck off, like does Egypt. It is obviously very malicious. What we are seeing here is probably the end-game as minister just hours ago announced that they will make Gaza damn rubble, suggesting people in Gaza to get out while they can, but I don't even know if they let them do that. Gaza is essentially a prison and this is like prison riot where some of the inmates are rapists and some of them are weed smokers and now governing body is about to blow up the whole place.

If you wonder how people do that, imagine that some people can just argument for their behaviour by stating "BUT I AM RIGHT ENOUGH SO IT MAKES UP FOR THE MEANS".

E: Term "zionist" here is used to refer to certain people, but those people do not cover all zionists. Apparently some zionists reject Israeli state as it is now.

All reports coming from Israeli officials and media say that Netanyahu was warned by mossad about immanent attacks from multiple locations but he dismissed the information because like Trump he has been criticizing the establishment, badmouthing Israeli military actions while going after the intelligence agencies of Israel. According to the sources.

Now I am interested about this guy Netanyahu? I can't figure out their position. They are trusted but they don't give a fuck or was it mistake?

This reminds me of countless news-worthy cases where people after event told something like "huh, I thought it was a joke"/"yeah we saw it coming, but our hands were tied"

More Israelis killed today than during this entire time

so they are going to kill at least every palestinian left?

I doubt false flag for reasons I have difficulties explaining. Might have mistaken, sure. But my instinct tells there was just humane error.

He's not a bad guy. He's like the Israeli equivalent of John McCain. On the one hand, he is an excellent leader. On the other hand, he has hung around for way too long and is happy to make deals that benefit rich Israeli. He talks tough about Iran but meanwhile nothing changes. He's better than Sharon though.

Tenure counts a lot in Israeli so it's tough to let new blood in. Meanwhile this is not a great time for an internal struggle so the Netanyahu is not really bad but he should be ready to step down after all this, if nothing else because he's had forever to beat up Iran but he never seems to do it.

HAMAS is funded by IRAN and hellozbah. HAMAS uses children as human shields. They are scum terrorists.
Israel is not genociding paleisteins.

They could of done that a long time ago but they didn't. Infact the palesteins rejected a two state solution in the 1940's and delcared they wanted to kill all jews.

So fuck them.

I support the zionists and the state of israel.

Jewish people are lovely and civilized. Unlike the barbaic scum HAMAS in gaza pardading and descarting naked corpses of women through the streets and uses children as human shields.

This proves that a two state solution can never work. the arabs left in gaza and the west bank can go fuck off to syria iran iraq and saudi arabia were they originally came from 1000 years ago. The jews were in jeraulusm first.

After everything they have been thru in the thousands of years tryna not be exterminated by so many different groups over the world. I support israel fully in this war.

The middle east is a shit show of a place. Were women and LGBT are killed in the name of religion.

Israel is the only place in the middle east with LGBT and women rights protections

P.S all the countries who back HAMAS deserved to get nuked and turned into radioactive dust.
