for 2 months i have been isolated
not been able to go anywhere,
do what i wanted to do
not even meeting the people i care bout
not beeing able to laugh with my friends
i have been isolated
my life, turned into a island
far away from bypassing ships
sitting by myself
like the last lonely palmtree
i have been isolated
broke,with big plans
plans of breaking free,
visiting friends and laughter
just beeing close to them
i have been isolated
no money to fulfil my dreams
no money to go all those miles,
those miles seperating me from them
seperating them from me
i was isolated
when i suddenly saw a falling star
a star bringing some light
shredding the surrounding dark
a star giving birth to new hope
i meet up with some people
their company i enjoy
no longer sitting home alone
when i can go out and have some fun
atlast i know someone in this town
this is truly what i needed
a life outside my comp
some laughter around me
and movement
in the corner of my eye
i am no longer isololated
well atleast not that much
i am still away from my friends
but a get together is coming soon
and i gladly awaits it with a smile
