Is this opium?

I got ahold of some opium but i dont know if its real opium or not, ive smoked that red rock fake shit and it definatly tasted like that, but it was clear and crystaly. We also broke some up and it smelled flowery which makes me think its opium, but why was it clear and crystaly, kinda looked like meth but it was definatly not meth. Oh yea it was $50 a gram. Ok i just looked at erowid.org too at pictures and it did not look like the white rock opium that is fake... also didnt look like the real opium pictures. Anyone else seen this?

Doesn't sound like real opium. Once you smoke real opium(if you ever get the chance, which few get) you will know wether or not it is the real deal. Once it hits you, you'll feel your body melt away...

Yea it wasnt real opium i dont think, i only smoked about 1/4 of a gram with a lot of weed, but it wasnt the effect of my body melting away. Oh well damn. So anyone know what this was? It kinda looked like crystal meth, but the high wasnt like that. It was like a really really clean, good, strong weed high. Like weed from amsterdam, also got some visuals off of it. Like black and brown dots forming squares and other shapes then breaking apart again and diseaparing.

It really doesn't sound like opium from the description.
Do you think it could possibly be kif? Since you said crystally substance giving a strong marijuana high.

Ya I bet it's kief also. Just the crystals or "trichromes" you see all over weed collected with a screen. Although a gram of trichromes for $50 would be a helluva good deal.

I've seen more and more reports lately of people smoking some sort of white/clear crystals as "white rock opium". It's all bunk.

Its not opium but I have read about opium preparations other then black tar. Black tar is raw opium , but they do make some kind of powder out of it that they still use in medicine today , but still , It could be anything.

If you search for "white rock opium", I believe PhreeX discovered that it was actually violin wax...I'm too lazy to do the search myself though, like many people on this board. (apparently)
