I have been a hard core opiate addict for a few years recently doing as much as 600mgs a day. And recently calling rehabs and considering subs to get off the oxys..... then i got a bad stomach virus for a few days. I ate less oxys during this time. But now feel no urge to eat oxys. While i was sick i didnt get off on them.....is it possible they werent working while i was sick and i withdrawled while being sick? Cuz even though i have been eating them (less) i dont crave them and by this time in the morning i should be in convulsions if not high yet. Whats your opinion?

Nope....i was taking oxys...but far less while i was sick......but feel they werent working...so is it possible they weren't working and i with drawled. During my illness?

Could have happened, yeah. Went through w/d's and didn't notice because you were ill. Sounds like a blessing in disguise =D could be a good opportunity to get off them, don't take any more oxy and see how you feel.

IDK 600mg withdrawal not being noticeable... most likely what happened was your tolerance got lowered, lower then its been in a while.

I've had this happen to me several times in my 13 year opiate addiction and everytime it would happen I would feel like you're feeling now, but I immediately get back to where I was before I got ill/sick (sickness was usually induced due to my heroin use) in a matter of a few days.

This. Unless you had the naloxone flu, you're still opiate dependent.....just less so than before. This is a great thing!!!! Try to savor it and keep it from getting too high too fast!

I don't think opiate withdrawals would send you into "convulsions" which are essentially and epileptic seizure...
