Say hypothetically someone did this would it be considered mixing drugs?

Day 1. 5mg of oxy. no other drugs taken.
Day 2. Alcohol consumed. No other drugs taken.
Day 3. 10mg of Adderall taken orally. No other drugs taken.

A friend of mine told me how if you take opiates one night, and the next night you drink, and on the 3rd night or day you take Adderall you are mixing drugs as the opiates you have taken are still in your body and will combine with the alcohol, and adderall. Is this true?

Oxy has a very short half life (time its still active in your system), so if one tablet was taken with food then by day two your body would have metabolized all the drug (even though traces would be present). Day two has a lot of factors to take into consideration - body size, food taken and the amount of alcohol consumed.

One beer would have be a lot different to one bottle of spirits.

One beer would be through your system so on day three your not really mixing drugs.

Mixing drugs or poly drug use is normally used for when multiple drugs are taken at one or when the effects of each one is still present.

This would definitely be a safe combo. Doesn't seem very fun though. 10mg of adderall is all the bad without the good. But if you enjoy it go for it.

Edit: sorry i miss read that. the user above is right. Oxycodones half life is very short. It's out of your system 3 hours. Unless a drug has a super long half life than you don't need to worry about drug interactions.
