Is this a gram?

gs up

hey dude .. next time you post a pic or want an opinion on size of a g ..
#1 nice if its a pic of the bud not the ground up remains.
#2 comment on dryness
#3 if its in a bag give perspective show next to a lighter or give bag dimensions
#4 comment on density ... wether it was fluffy or really solid nugz.

Now to the bad news based on the size of the bag (your finger was in the shot) the fact its busted up and looks leafy.
And knowing that street dealers have absolutely no morals in general .. always trying to double or more on their expense.. you likely got more like a p3 or p4 of a gram...
just be glad in my home town if you are not lucky you sometimes will get a bag mixed in with chewed up yellow pages.. thats why I never take anything that isnt in an at least partially clear baggy ... lol

You should just pick up a cheap scale, man. (At least where I live) you can get them at some ghetto convenience stores for under 15 bucks.

if he knows you never buy weed he's most likely going to rip you off. looks more like .6-.8 to me. it would be better if you had it un-buster on the table beside a familiar coin was it busted up when you bought it? a food dehydrator would be best. otherwise use a blow drier

IF you say that its not thick but it is light and fluffy bud , it is def not a gram at all if i had to guess i would say the weight is .5/.6 at most. It looks like a Dime amount in a dime size bag it should cost no more than 10 dollars US. Good luck hope you didnt overpay,:)

it def looks like a gram. a gram of prematurely-dried green shake....but a gram, nonetheless

did it come all ground up like that?

a little shake in a bag is alright, happens when you store dry weed but nugs are what your looking for....

on the plate it looks like a gram, maybe a bit less... depends on how finely ground it is, and how dry it is so its hard to tell without a scale...

A Cone is like a bowl just smaller from what i've gathered, so if small enough one could fit 10 packs out of a gram.

& To all the people telling him to get it weighed out in front of him, how many dealers you know who are willing to carry scales around for a gram? Maybe if you go up to his house to buy it then you ask for it weighed out. But if your meeting him behind some shadey building at the bottom of some steps it ain't never gonna happen for a gram.

TBH if you don't go to a dealer that deals from his house/carries scales around with him, its almost an essential to own a pair of scales. You can get them real cheap on Ebay and its so much better having that piece of mind. It's also really fun calling someone back and telling them off for underweighing you, then having them overweigh you to compensate. I used to have a dealer that would go in his room to make up the deals then come out and tell you what it weighed. One time I asked if it'd be cool to have a quick couple of cones at his house and when he came out with my '3.5' grams, i pulled my scales out from my bag, set them down on his loungeroom table and watched him quickly double back into his room to add more to it.

Scales are definitely necessary.

^^ Fuckingggggg LOL at last sentence in first para!

That is how the weed came, kind of mashed up in the saddy bag.

Anyway to put all of you to rest I have purchased some fairly cheap scales off eBay and will be weighing it once they arrive. Until then, I suppose I am going to take his word?

If I find out it has been .5 g all this time I hope he ends up giving me like the 10g he owes me...

Doubt it.

Will keep you posted!

That's great, you'll be happy you made that buy. :)

If I were you, I would wait until the scale arrives until I purchase from him again. Then you can weigh it and see what's up.

IMO it's never good to be a dick about it even if you are being shorted; give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Just say something like "hey bro, I think you made a mistake weighing my bag -- my scale says you're a bit short." Allow him a chance to make up some excuse and try to rectify the situation.

Trust me, if you handle it like that he'll never short you again -- additionally, he will probably hook you up fat in the future because you handled the situation with tact and didn't call him out for being a thieving cunt (most people don't want to be called out on that to their face, even if its very true -- he'll know you know what's up, and he'll also know that you were cool enough not to be a dick about it, so he'll feel obliged to do fair business in the future).

^ Good response! :-)

I will have a look on eBay and see if I can find any cheAp scales on the net, yeah and if I was wrong when telling him he was short it would have looked bad.

Anyway, thanks for the responses!

It's been stated already, but you can get those scales at a lot of convience stores. Just ask for letter scales. I never bought any that cost more than $6.00.
It's the only way you're going to get an accurate response to your question.

It looks like a gram to me. And WTF, why don't you just buy it by the 1/8th oz. or something? You be in the same amount of trouble if you're caught with it, plus you'll save money and not have to see the dealer as often (high traffic is a beacon for the 5-0.)

Also, Harbor freight tools has nice digital scales for cheap, I got mine for $12, they have a stainless tray, a pop off lid that doubles as a tray extension, 1kg max load, and are extremely sensitive (0.1 g accuracy, and even air will give you an unstable caution.) Plus they have a pretty blue backlight so they're easy to read.
