Is there morphine in OxyContin???

If there was morphine in it then it would be called morphine, not Oxy Contin.

Cheers,
Jesse!

There are no drugs present in the green coating of Oxy80's.
Oxycodone is converted to morphine in the body.
Whoever gave you this information has no clue what they're talking about.

for what it's worth, i checked an analgesic equivalency table and 30 mg PO (by mouth) of oxycodone is said to be equivalent to 30 mg PO of morphine sulfate. so it's roughly a 1:1 equivalency.
interesting fact:
the carbonyl group in oxycodone renders it much more susceptible to O-demethylation than codeine... you didn't hear it from me.
