Is there any way to test Ket?

So I managed to come across a good amount of ketamine last night. We came home from a night out, sat down, relaxed and decided to give it a shot. It's been quite some time since we last had it, maybe 6 months or 7 ?

Anyways I made two really small lines, one each. Maybe half an inch long and like two tooth picks thick. Worried that I'm unsure of the content, I rub a little on my gums and notice it tastes a little different. I get the numbing feeling on my gums shortly. Okay, good to go I guess.

We each take our line. There's like ten minutes and then I start to feel something. It's that intoxicating drunkish feeling you get at first, and I'm feeling confident that it's ket. Give it another minute. Whoah, this is developing FAST. Already got full body numbness, and a shit load of weight. At this point, we decide it's best if we both just lay down and turn off the lights. We can feel this is getting really really really fucking heavy.

So the lights are off, we are in bed, and I can't move, my head is spinning in crazy directions, my thoughts are soo fucking insane. Okay okay okay. Just let go. So I do, and things become much more comfortable. Through really quiet whispers, we talk to each other. But they are so trailing and digital sounding. My girlfriend is a little spooked, and for some reason this gives me this sobering feeling, like I need to be there for her and assure her its okay. I can now control myself a lot better, and I notice I'm coming down some. To my surprise it's already been like over an hour and I realize that I should be coming down anyways. I talk to her, make her feel better, assure her, and she relaxes and drifts off to sleep.

My question is HOW THE FUCK DID ONE LITTLE ASS LINE FLOOR US LIKE THIS?! I mean it felt like ket, and I have enough experience with it. My girlfriends pretty sure she k-holed for at least 20 minutes. We have easily gone through 250mg in a night with the two of us at it, but if I had to guess, I'd say we did maybe 35mg each at most. Is ket commonly cut with something to make it more potent? I don't think I experienced anything out of the norm. Just confused as to how it was so fucking strong.

You may well have just got less kut ket than you are used to. 250mg between two does sound a bit on the low side but with little/no tolerance to pure ket it's not unheard of. EZ-Test tests for ket but obviously can't tell you how pure it is or if it's been adulterated. I've never heard of ket having anything added to potentiate it as such and don't know of anything that would work for that... although they do lace it with liquid acid and sell it as "Pixie Dust" around here sometimes

Yeah from what I understand 250mg between two people is low too.
But the problem is last night we maybe only did like 35mg each! I'm starting to wonder if maybe its just another dissociative all together.

Possible but anyone here could only speculate which is kinda pointless. There really aren't any other dissociatives that 35mg would be an appropriate dose for I can think of. DXM - much higher dose and burns like crazy snorted. PCP - much lower dose and lasts way longer than ket. And the new PCP analogues (3-MeO-PCP, 4-MeO-PCP and 3-MeO-PCE (not quite the same but close enough for the purposes of discussion)) are still very rare and not being sold "on the street" anywhere. And the dose doesn't fit either.

Personally, I'd just be pleased I could get off on such a small amount and be thankful for it

Maybe tiletamine? It's supposed to be more potent than ketamine, and more nasty and briskish in terms of the effects on the mind. People say the fine edge of thought that you usually get with K is blunted with effects lasting well into the next day, so see how you feel tomorrow. Also, it could be mostly pure (S)+ ketamine which would be pretty active at 35mg, halfway in the hole.

Theres been loads of poor quality ketamine going around Bristol lately

Had some that was mixed with valium the other day looked kinda yellow, was absoloutely horrendous stuff. Did a gram line of it and felt nothing other than sedated.
