Is the Military Ignoring Its Heroin Problem in the Ranks?

there are many times when the only judgement is the persons. We work in very small units, platoon and smaller. sometimes, the Lt, MWO and section Sgt are just as tied up with the fighting as the troop. Then its his judgment and field craft to stay alive.

Nor can leadership have an eye on everyone all the time. We just hold them a standard of capability, and if its met, We dont ask questions as a General rule.

but Canadian SOF teams probably run different then US army regular inf bde's do.
 
SOF always works differently from regular line units. in a regular line unit, its easy to keep tabs on the 3-4 people for which you're responsible as a leader
