Is something mixed when it is frothed ?

Last night i performed a CWE on some codeine/apap pills.
In my previous attempt i felt i didnt mix the solution up well enough with warm water - so this time i wanted to make sure i did it properly.

I found an extremely powerful frother (like a coffee frother/milk thingy) + used it mix the pills. Within about 2 seconds the whole thing was a complete frothy mess - hardly any liquid at all. But I still put it in the freezer and hoped for the best.

It turned out ok - the froth returned to normal in the freezer. So i was wondering was it actually really, really well mixed when it was frothed ? or would it be best to never do that again lol

Frothing just puts air into the liquid. It would probably mix it fairly well too, but it's possible it frothed the water and left the pill sludge undisturbed on the bottom, so best to double check. I use a hand blender which often froths it a bit but mixes it really well
