is seroquel any fun?

If you've never taken it before, it'll just knock you out. Even 25mg is likely to put you to sleep for a first time user.

After long term use of benzodiazepines and Z drugs I was prescribed Seroquel/Quetiapine for sleep. First time I took 25mg with a glass of wine and I was knocked out flat and woke up 10 hours later fully clothed on the sofa. Not very recreational, but very useful for sleep.

I was prescribed seroquil as a single med solution to both my daytime anxiety and nightime insomnia. At a low dose (I think it was 50mg but I know it was less than 100mg) it certainly cured my insomnia, but it put me down so hard I could only sleep. Even getting up to take a piss felt like a war against gravity. The entire next day I felt like my brain had been wrapped in a blanket (and not in a good way). IMO they would probably ge good for stim comedowns, or if you enjoy being a zombie.

Please trust me on this one, Seroquel has no recreational value Whatsoever!
I asked the same thing along time ago, and people told me the same thing, ofcourse like when you're a kid and your mom tells you not to touch the plate because it's hot, ofcourse I tried it anyway.
Used a 100mg, and this is the first time I ever used a antipsychotic/psychopharmica, I remember going to the kitchen to get something to drink, looked in the refrigurator and it was like someone gave me a right hook, I remember just standing and looking for two minutes forgetting what I was doing, I closed it and went straight for my bed, fell asleep within a minute after laying down, and slept for like a day and a half.
There is no euphoria or anything like it at all. you just become a zombie

If like feeling like a zombie and then falling asleep and waking up groggy as fuck then yes I guess they are recreational.
Also they can give horrible restless leg syndrome in some people, and another time the morning after taking one to help sleep after doing blow, I ended up fainting out of nowhere in my chemistry lab. Not sure if it's related but I've never fainted like that before

For recreational purposes? No. Have you tried a 200 mg dose? I'd not do that high a dose if not prescribed it I could go into depth but I doubt talking about binding values to receptor sites will mean much. Basically if you want to use them to sleep cut them into quarters (50mg roughly) and then 1/2 them again. Even then you will wake up feeling like shit. Using them as a come down drug could have some nasty side effects. Holy toasts fainting spell is no doubt a result of Quintiapine aka Seroquel. They are an anti-psychotic drug. I'd use them as a last resort.

^This. Seroquel is an antipsychotic drug and is generally not considered recreational anyway.

I'm closing this thread. PM me if you have any questions.
