Wasn't sure whether to post this in OD or here but this seems more appropriate as it's a health related question. So the title says it all, I've procured an etizolam solution and sometimes I need to use it for acute panic attacks and sometimes these panic attacks occur when my stomach is full and if you don't already know etiz does very little and takes quite a bit to come-up on a full stomach so I choose to use the insufflation route. Before anyone tries to give me the whole "etizolam isn't water soluble therefor doesn't work nasally" bs I hate to break it to you but your WRONG, so don't bother making these types of comments. If you wanna argue it doesn't work then you obviously haven't tried it yet.
Anyways I noticed when I do these nasal drips with the PG solution it REALLY burns for about 45 seconds so that makes me wonder if this is doing any damage to my nasal cavities. When I insuflate etiz I only use 1/10th of a ml so it's not alot of material but even that small amount really burns my nose pretty bad. I always thought that nasal saline sprays contain PG but I've never noticed any burn with those, is this because the PG needs to be diluted? I can tolerate the burn but I just wanna know if long-term the nasal doses for acute anxiety will cause any lasting damage to my nasal cavities, responses will be appreciated
Ps: subligual also doesn't work for me so that's outta the option, within litterally 2 mins my cheeks are already blown up like a chipmunk from saliva buildup.
TL;DR- is propylene glycol damaging to nasal cavities in amounts as small as 1/10ml?
