Im not talking about mixing drugs at the same time, but different drugs on different days. I switch between opiates and amphetamines. It keeps my tolerance low, i have no withdrawls, and i dont have a specific addiction. Isnt this safer than using one drug only?

I do the same thing, and it has kept my tolerance relatively low and I don't have WD's from anything to deal with. The risk of course is that you'll end up doing multiple drugs every day, and end up with several addictions. That said I've been doing this for years without problems.

Depends on your definition of safe. I think that it's probably worse for you to do both then if you only did opiates because amphetamines are neurotoxic and harmful to your body, whereas opiates are neither.

Do you switch every day? Like opiates on monday, speed on tuesday, opiates on wednesday, speed on thursday, etc? I'd say you'll most likely develop an addiction to both drugs eventually if that's your schedule.

So the answer is that it depends on what two drugs you're using, and which one you'd use exclusively if you were only on one. In this case, it's better for you then using amphetamines every day, and worse for you then using opiates every day. But really you shouldn't use either of them every day or even every other day.

Good point. You really need to give it enough time for the drug to be completely out of your system. I don't have much problem with this because I like a variety of drugs. =D

only you can really tell if its better or not as its entirely dependent on your routine, as someone mentioned. You can become co-dependent on different drugs. But it sounds like you have a handle on things. I wouldn't go so far as to say in general poly drug use is any safer than mono-drug use as long as the user is in control always. If the user allows themselves to become addicted its unsafe in either scenario.

Nah. My schedule i speed when i need it. Benzos for coming down. Opiates at most every three days. Pot on any other day i can. Btw im not sure if you consider amphetamine use abuse because i dont like the high, its for when i have to get shit done. I usually take 20 mg dextroamphetamine. With this schedule, not being altered in any way, what are the risks i run for addiction?

It's pretty much impossible for us to tell you how likely you are to get addicted to drugs because we don't know you and there are many variables involved.

I will say this though- depending on how likely you "need" speed, I can see that becoming an addiction pretty easily. When drugs are used to get things done it's easy to become reliant on them for getting things done. Another significant risk of regular amphetamine use is neurotoxicity, which occurs every time you use regardless of addiction. Regular amphetamine use is really not safe.

Using opiates every three days is stepping into somewhat risky behavior in my opinion. I think that's getting to where it could be quite easy for you to slip into daily use. It only takes one binge to get you hooked.

I wouldn't worry about the weed, but then again, I smoke daily, so I don't worry about weed unless I'm running out, and even then I don't worry, I just pick up the phone. Still, daily weed use is generally not good for you. But in different and much less benign ways then daily amphetamine or opiate use.

Drug addiction is something you often don't really see coming, it can really sneak up on you, so be careful. It's easy to have a dosing schedule like you maintain and semi-accidentally slip into daily use.

If you're worried about it, and I agree that your schedule is perhaps risky, you should use less often. Keep amphetamine use to when you really need it (but not every time it would help), and opiate use to the weekends or less often.
