Is plain old Morphinan active?

I've always wondered this myself, but can't seem to find any info on the unsubstituted compound. As far as I know, it's uncontrolled.

even if it was is it that easy to obtain? im not asking for a source at all im jw if its like allowed to be online but woulndt it for sure be prosecutable under some part of the federal analoghue act? its pretty similiair to other opiods and opiate based NMDA antogonists.
 
N-methylmorphinan is around the same potency as morphine, so it is possible morphinan might retain some activity, but it would be pretty weak I would imagine.
 
As same as hamilton said, I suppose it would have some (low) activity due to the lack of tertiary amine. Plus the hydrophilic binding of hydroxyl group is missing too.

I won't be surprise if this has some small value of mu activity
