Is my ez-test off ?

I've had my ez test for about a year now. It has a crack in the lid (which leakes)
Anyway I've put alot of the liquid on very good Supermen pills, but got no colour change.
Other people have told me the pills are good + very good reports of them in London area. And they stink of Diseal/plastic.
So is my ez off ?
