is methylphenidate as good as cocaine?

I might be able to get some Ritalin and plan to plug them. Would plugging Ritalin match the rush and euphoria from snorted or plugged cocaine? I've never done cocaine but have heard it has a pretty good rush. I'd like to experience it with without going out and trying to find some coke that will probably be really shitty. What would a good starting dose be for a nice strong rush?
 
No it won't even be similar. They really don't feel THAT similar in effect. Plugging methylphenidate without tolerance can get you pretty geeked though so start low. 5mg-10mg if say if you're gonna plug em.
Ritalin does have a rush, and it does feel kinda like cocaine. But coke is way more euphoric and smoother.
 
I never plugged MPD, but extracted and used it intranasally. Whilst it is nowhere near the bell-ringing euphoria of a blast on a Crack pipe, it's actually not too bad.
The objective, physiological effects are very similar, but Coke is more intense, more euphoric and generally better. It ain't called "Kiddie Coke" for nothing, though.

The comedown from MPD was, at times, worse than I'd receive from an equivalent time spent on Cocaine!
 
does anyone know if the comedown is any softer or harder with my choice of ROA? I've snorted plenty and the comedown is pretty bad when taken like that.

Also i thought I've heard that IV coke and methylphenidate were very similar so I figured plugged MPH would be at least on par with snorted coke.
 
No. Most people say methylphenidate feels like cocaine without the rush, but it's a horrid comedown and the urge to redose is ridiculous. My advice to you is to not even start messing with it.
 
ritalin is great to sniff, but there is a thin line with methylphenidate, it can be very volatile. too much and you will have the worst paranoia, anxiety, remember that it really has a strong effect on norepinephrine. It's euphoric effect is very short lived. it doesnt recycle ALL the good stuff in your brain. If you do line it, just start with 10mg and wait at least an hour or so as it takes a while for it to have the FULL effect on ur receptors. You can always do more, cant always take it back. And definetly dont mix amphetamines with it, they work differently and are a very dangerous mix, great way to blow your heart up.
 
I always felt that Ritalin was actually better than Cocaine. However, m-phenidate had a horrific comedown. 5-10 mg to begin with.
 
People often compare methylphenidate to cocaine, I suppose because they're both stimulants and methylphenidate lends itself to snorting. The majority of people rate cocaine over methylphenidate, and having done both I can understand. What's worth mentioning, and is the reason for this post, is the difference between methylphenidate and ethyphenidate After i was written a script for methylphenidate, I tried snorting it and was underwhelmed. Raised heart rate, but very little euphoria. Then I tried it with alcohol. And I was overwhelmed by the difference. It was amazing. Turns out when methylphenidate and ethanol meet in the blood stream, it turns to ethyphenidate, a very euphoric chemical very similar in feeling to cocaine. So yeah, combine booze and kiddie-coke (KC) and the difference compared to KC alone is remarkable.
